With 4 little children already, many of you are probably wondering why we want to adopt. While we are requesting a little girl, we are not adopting to "get" our girl. Our plans for adoption have been in place from even before we knew we would be blessed with 4 biological sons.
We are adopting because we love children and we love being parents.
We are adopting because adoption has always been a part of our family plan.
We are adopting because there are 143 million orphans in the world, and while we believe strongly in a multi-faceted approach to orphan care, we believe children need families.
We are adopting because we are young, we have energy, and we desire to walk out our faith.
We are adopting because we believe God is near the broken-hearted and that He places the lonely in families.
We are adopting because we hope that someday all of our children will continue to be a part of the solution for orphans in this world.
We are adopting because more than anything we seek to see God glorified.
We're here to give ourselves away, to love those who need to be loved, and to always, always find a way to place children right in the lap of Jesus, where they belong.
